South America

Belize - Visit the Mayan ruins; view the largest barrier reef in the Northern Hemisphere; snorkeling, diving, hiking or simply enjoy the numerous bird and wildlife views.

Argentina - Deserts to tropical forests, this country can offer as much diversity in its terrain as it does its culture. Some of the most popular places to visit in this country are Buenes Aires, San Rafael and Puerto Madryn. This area enjoys temperate climates throughout the year.

Peru - The magnificent Andes Mountains may be the most familiar site in Peru, but this country has so much more to offer the tourist. Lake Titicaca is considered to be one of the most fascinating lakes in the entire world, deep in Incan history and culture. The Peruvian Amazon is an adventure in of itself; a rainforest environment packed with interesting birds and wildlife. The best travel times for a Peru vacation is between December and April.

Brazil - Rio de Janeiro has long been recognized as the ideal spot for South America tourism. An incredibly beautiful coastline may be enough for some in South America; however the interior of Brazil offers beaches, rainforests, islands, rivers, rock climbing and more. A must see: the sand dunes that dot the landscape, formed by wind and water. Any time of the year is a good time to travel to Brazil.

Columbia - This country is the only one in South America that can lay claim to the fact that they overlap both the Pacific and the Atlantic oceans. Because of its position squarely on the equator, Columbia is a classic tropical paradise; beautiful, expansive beaches, lush foliage and diverse wildlife are only a few of the magnets that draw visitors to this lovely location. December through March offers the most ideal conditions for vacationers.

It can be said that there is no place in the country that is not ideal for South America tourism. With diversity in climate, culture and history, there is certainly something for everyone.
